Today our Home Depot team in Monroe, OH introduced their new trailer light and ABS diagnosis system. In the past this account has faced times where the drivers have found that some of the upper trailer lights or the trailer ABS system did not work. This would make the trailer illegal to be used and would fail a DOT inspection. This would cause the client to have to unload that trailer and place the load on a different trailer or wait for a repair truck. In either case this could cause a load not delivering on time and a disappointed customer.
Now the account can check for these mechanical defects while the trailer is sitting on the customers lot and if defects are found they can make arrangements for repairs before loading.
Doing this will help cut down on service failures do to mechanical issues and cut down in DOT violations. Great effort to save us problems both in compliance and service.

Cort Duggins came out and instructed OM Brian Tabor and TGM Scott Gray on how to use this diagnosis system. During this time we are very happy to find more trailers that did not require repairs than we found that did. This showed that the accounts action have been going in the correct direction. This system will help fine tune our efforts
