Last week was forecasted to be our busiest week of the year in terms of freight volume. In an effort to slow our drivers down, we had a TEAM inspection blitz all week. This meant that every driver who came in to pickup a load had a TEAM inspection completed with them. This gave us the opportunity to talk safety and spend a little time in their world. Although we didn't reach our goal of spending time with every driver on the fleet, we did manage to impact 26 of the 30 active drivers running last week.
That is a fantastic approach to being proactive for our Family Dollar team.
